Tom - surfer guy

Meeting different people is one of the unfailing joys of photography.  

This is Tom. I was wandering around at the top of Polzeath beach when I met Tom and we started casually chatting about cameras, pictures, surf, the weather....  It seemed to me that Tom just made that kind of stuff easy.  

So here is a picture that I took as he worked, talking to other people about the surf, different boards, wetsuits, that kind of stuff, I guess....  A cool guy...

Wow... a bit too much for me.... Anyone who believes that violence is ever a viable solution should take a look at his pictures....

As you say, though, they are completely incredible pictures... hard to believe he would be risking his own life like that...
